A new light of alchymy : taken out of the fountain of nature and manual experience : to which is added a treatise of sulphur
An English alchemical compilation of 1674, printed in London by A. Clark for Thomas Williams, gathering Michael Sendivogius's treatises with Paracelsus's De natura rerum and Gerhard Dorn's dictionary in John French's translation, aimed at practising chymists and physicians. The pictures are mostly woodcut initial letters, some with foliate scrollwork, some with crude figures crowding the letterform, plus a red wax seal impression photographed on the page.
