Amateur radio : how and why of wireless with complete instructions on operation of receiving outfits
A 1922 how-to manual by Maurice J. Grainger, published in New York by James A. McCann for hobbyists building and operating home wireless receiving sets. The 56 plates are hand-lettered circuit schematics in heavy black line on cream stock: battery grids of stacked circles, vacuum tubes, coil spirals, spark gaps, labelled capacitors and aerial marks, usable as diagram motifs and technical lettering.
