Amazing Stories, Nov 1926

1926 · 6 pictures

Amazing Stories for November 1926, Hugo Gernsback's New York science-fiction pulp, reprinting and printing tales by Murray Leinster, Jules Verne, A. Hyatt Verrill and Garrett P. Serviss for a mass magazine readership. The story openers are full-page pen-and-ink line drawings with hand-drawn display titles and a one-line caption beneath: giant insects, balloon baskets, flying saucers over motorcades, and crowds under vast girder machinery, all built from dense crosshatching that reproduces well at any size.
