Amusement for little children; drawing and tracing book ..
A children's drawing and tracing book issued by McLoughlin Brothers in New York in 1898, printed on tinted paper for young hands to copy line by line. The plates are bare outline drawings in even pen strokes on tan ground: girls in broad hats and coats watering flowers or reading on the grass, a boy in a smock, stone cottages with chimneys and shrubs, all reducible to clean contour art with no shading or fill.
