Analyse spectrale des corps célestes. Traduit de l'anglais par l'abbé Moigno
A French translation by the abbé Moigno of William Huggins's English papers on stellar spectroscopy, published in Paris by Gauthier-Villars in 1866 for astronomers and scientific readers. The plates are small stipple-engraved views of ring and spiral nebulae, star clouds and a ringed planet, white forms scratched out of dense black grounds — useful as high-contrast celestial textures.
