An analysis of Gothick architecture : illustrated by a series of upwards of seven hundred examples of doorways, windows, etc., and accompanied with remarks on the several details of an ecclesiastical edifice
A two-volume architectural survey by brothers Raphael and Joshua Arthur Brandon, published in London by David Bogue in 1849 for architects, builders and antiquaries working in the Gothic Revival. The plates are measured line engravings of English church details — doorways, window tracery, mouldings — alongside sheets of rubbed brass lettering in blackletter and pierced quatrefoil panels, giving designers ready alphabets, ornamental tile motifs and tracery geometry.
