An aneroid calorimeter for specific and latent heats
A 1918 technical paper from the U.S. National Bureau of Standards, issued in its Bulletin for physicists and instrument makers measuring specific and latent heats. Halftone plates show a cylindrical calorimeter photographed whole, partly assembled, and broken into labelled parts, plus a bench installation with piping and gauges — useful for machined metal forms, numbered callouts, and gray studio backdrops.
