Winckelmann's 1767 supplement to his history of ancient art, published in Dresden by the Waltherische Hof-Buchhandlung for German scholars and collectors of Greek and Roman antiquities; the Getty copy carries the Van der Poel collection bookplate. The scanned pages here are the binding's combed marbled endpapers in red, ochre, green and blue-grey, usable as period pattern fills, texture overlays, or repeating decorative borders alongside the engraved classical-portal bookplate.
