Annual catalogue of staple fancy goods, novelties, Christmas presents, French and German toys.
A trade catalogue of staple and fancy goods, toys, and Christmas presents issued in 1871 by Charles Emerson & Sons of Haverhill, Massachusetts, for retail shopkeepers and mail-order buyers. Small stock wood engravings show carriages, doll perambulators, horse-drawn barouches with drivers, and clustered arrangements of hoops, balls, fans, and games, printed coarsely on tinted paper; useful for spot vignettes, period vehicle profiles, and grouped-object motifs.
