The 34 halftones reproduce Canadian landscape and marine canvases in soft brown ink — snow-banked rivers, wooded hills, sailing craft under heavy cloud, a figure among trees — usable as tonal backgrounds, atmospheric vignettes, and grainy duotone texture.
