Exhibition catalogue for the Ontario Society of Artists' fifty-first annual open show of painting and sculpture, printed in Toronto in 1923 for gallery visitors and members. Halftone plates reproduce Canadian landscape oils: bare birches over a lake, snow-loaded spruce, surf below dark headlands, cattle grazing beneath a cleared hillside, all flattened into soft grey tones and broad shapes.
