Annual report of the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Annual reports of the Pennsylvania Museum and School of Industrial Art (later the Philadelphia Museum of Art), issued from 1878 onward in Philadelphia for trustees, members, and subscribers. The plates are halftone photographs: long street views of the school buildings at Fifteenth and Pine, gallery interiors crowded with plaster casts and columns, and displays of student work — useful for Victorian institutional architecture, museum-installation layouts, and cast-collection props.
