Firenze antica, e moderna : illustrata
Firenze antica, e moderna: illustrata is an eight-volume topographical guide to Florence's buildings and monuments compiled by Vincenzo Follini and Modesto Rastrelli, printed by Pietro Allegrini in 1789 for local readers and travellers. The copperplate engravings give elevations and perspectives of chapels, loggias and palace facades in fine hatched line, with engraved Italian captions usable as period architectural detail and lettering.
