Antike Bronzestatuetten
Karl Anton Neugebauer's 1921 survey of ancient bronze statuettes, published in Berlin for archaeologists and museum curators. Halftone photographs show small Greek, Etruscan and Roman figures on plain mounts against grey grounds — striding nudes, draped women, horned and animal-headed figures — giving designers isolated silhouettes, weathered surface texture and clear pose studies of the human body.
