Antikes Traufleisten-Ornament
Martin Schede's 1909 archaeological study of ancient sima and cornice ornament, published in Strassburg by J. Heitz for classical archaeologists and architects. Plates give line engravings and photographs of Greek temple gutter mouldings from Pergamon, Ilion and Delphi: lion-head waterspouts, palmette and lotus friezes, running spirals and meander bands usable as repeating borders.
