The antiquarian itinerary, comprising specimens of architecture, monastic, castellated, and domestic; with other vestiges of antiquity in Great Britain. Accompanied with descriptions
A seven-volume topographical survey of British antiquities compiled by the engraver James Storer and published in London in 1815 for antiquarians and subscribers, cataloguing monastic ruins, castles, churches and old houses with descriptive text. The plates are small copperplate views in fine line and stipple, showing Norman doorways, tracery windows, ruined gatehouses and parish churches set among trees with a few figures for scale; useful for architectural detail, ruin silhouettes and engraved foliage textures.
