Antique gems and rings
C. W. King's two-volume study of engraved gems and finger rings, published by Bell and Daldy in London in 1872 for collectors, antiquaries and students of classical art. Line engravings reproduce intaglios and cameos as oval or round fields holding profile heads, deities, animals and attribute symbols, useful for medallion motifs, seal and monogram frames, and small emblem spots.
