Antiquités étrusques, grecques et romaines : ou les beaux vases étrusques, grecs et romains, et les peintures rendues avec les couleurs qui leur sont propres
A French catalogue of Greek, Etruscan and Roman vases from the collection of Sir William Hamilton, compiled by Pierre d'Hancarville and engraved and published by François-Anne David in Paris in 1787 for antiquarians, collectors and artists. Plates show single vessels centred on plain grounds, some as line engravings with hatched backgrounds, others flat-washed in terracotta: amphorae, oinochoai, handles, foot rings and banded profiles usable as silhouettes or outline stock.
