Antiquités d'Herculanum
An engraved record of finds from Herculaneum, drawn and etched by Tommaso Piroli with Francesco and Pietro Piranesi and issued in Paris in 1804 for antiquaries, collectors and artists. Plates show oil lamps, candelabra and bronze vessels in outline and light hatching, numbered and set against blank grounds with scale bars — clean silhouettes and ornament motifs ready for cutting out.
