Apologia in difesa del Cavaliere conte Sertorio Orsato contra le censure dell' autore del Museo veronese
A 1752 antiquarian pamphlet by Giandomenico Polcastro defending the Paduan scholar Sertorio Orsato against Scipione Maffei's strictures on Latin inscriptions, printed in Padua by Giuseppe Comino for a learned readership. The plates in the index are the book's printer's ornaments: woodcut headpieces of acanthus scrollwork, baskets of fruit and flowers, winged putto heads, and a square floral border enclosing an initial, usable as rules, chapter openers, and frames.
