Starye gody
Starye gody (Old Years) was a Russian art and antiquarian monthly begun in St. Petersburg in 1907 for collectors, curators and students of eighteenth-century Russian architecture and decorative art. Its plates reproduce pen-and-wash design drawings: tiered fountain and monument projects, rococo cartouches, draped masks over trophies of arms and instruments, allegorical figures flanking medallion reliefs, useful as loose linear ornament and architectural detail.
