Archimedis opera : Apollonii Pergaei Conicorum libri IIII. Theodosii Sphærica : methodo nova illustrata & succinctè demonstrata
A Latin edition of Archimedes, Apollonius's Conics and Theodosius's Spherics edited by Isaac Barrow, printed by William Godbid in London in 1675 for university mathematicians and scholars of Greek geometry. The plates are dense engraved sheets of numbered geometrical figures — circles with inscribed triangles, ellipses, parabolas, spirals, chord and tangent constructions — all fine unshaded line work with italic letter labels, useful as diagram ornament, pattern fill, or endpaper texture.
