The architect
A monthly professional journal of architecture issued in San Francisco by J.A. Drummond from 1915, carrying work and notices of the American Institute of Architects' local chapter for practising architects, engineers, and builders on the Pacific coast. Halftone photographs show recently finished California buildings straight on or from the corner — reinforced-concrete factory lofts, a federal post office ferry station, arcaded stucco fronts with tiled roofs — alongside measured plans and elevations, useful for period facade grids, window bays, and architectural lettering.
