The Architect & engineer of California and the Pacific Coast
A monthly trade journal published in San Francisco from 1905 by the Architect and Engineer Co. for West Coast architects, engineers, contractors, and building-trade suppliers. Most plates are halftone photographs and rendered elevations of commercial blocks, libraries, and houses, shot flat-on from the street, plus floor plans and construction views; useful for period facade detail, window grids, cornice profiles, and grainy urban backdrops.
