The Architect & engineer of California and the Pacific Coast
A monthly trade journal issued from San Francisco by the Architect and Engineer Co. from 1905, reporting new construction, materials and practice on the Pacific Coast for architects, engineers and builders. The plates are grainy halftone photographs of civic buildings, bungalows, garden courts and shingled roofs, with floor plans and construction details, giving designers early twentieth-century California facades, brick paving patterns and pergola and window framing.
