An architectural monograph on a white pine house for the vacation season; competitive drawings, with report of the jury of architects.
A 1918 monograph from the White Pine Bureau in Saint Paul, edited by Russell F. Whitehead, publishing the winning entries and jury report of a competition for a wood-frame vacation house, addressed to practicing architects and lumber promoters. The plates pair fine pen-line perspectives of shingled and clapboard cottages set among trees with flat floor plans, site plans, and hand-lettered schedules of rooms and costs, useful for line-drawn architectural motifs, drafting-sheet layouts, and display lettering.
