An architectural monograph on the Greek revival in Owego & nearby New York towns,
An issue of the White Pine Series of Architectural Monographs, written by architect Alexander B. Trowbridge and edited by Russell F. Whitehead in 1921, surveying Greek Revival houses in Owego and neighboring towns of upstate New York for practicing architects, builders and draftsmen. The plates are soft green-black halftone photographs of clapboard facades taken through trees, with pedimented gables, louvered shutters, columned porches, cupolas and doorway details, useful for period house silhouettes, shutter and column profiles, and muted duotone photographic texture.
