Architectural sketches, ecclesiastical, secular, and domestic, in Worcestershire and its borders, with historical and descriptive notes
An 1862 antiquarian sketchbook of Worcestershire buildings by J. Severn Walker, printed privately in Worcester for local subscribers and readers interested in parish churches and old houses. The plates are fine pen-and-ink line drawings of small churches, timbered lych-gates, half-timbered houses and gravestones, shaded with dense hatching and shingle and tile texture, useful for line-art building motifs, roof and timber-frame patterns, and vignette compositions with open white margins.
