The architecture of ancient Delhi : especially the buildings around the Kutb Minar
An architectural survey of the Qutb Minar complex and other early Islamic buildings at Delhi, recorded by Henry Hardy Cole and issued in London by the Arundel Society in 1872 for architects, art students and antiquarians. Outline engravings reproduce carved stone borders of foliate scroll, palmette and Arabic inscription, while mounted photographs show colonnades and ruined arches; the border strips repeat cleanly as rules and frames.
