Manuale d'architettura di Giovanni Branca
A pocket-sized Italian architectural handbook by Giovanni Branca, reissued in Rome in 1772 for masons, builders and students of the classical orders. Small copperplate and woodcut plates show cornices, Doric and Tuscan entablatures, column bases and arch constructions, lettered and dimensioned in Roman palmi, with hatched masonry and dotted construction lines usable as measured ornament or diagram motifs.
