A Geneva scientific periodical issued by the Société de Physique et d'Histoire Naturelle in 1878, carrying physics and natural history papers for researchers and learned societies. The plates are lithographed line work: lake-level traces from a limnograph dated by hand, paired wave curves in solid and dotted line, and sparse outline drawings of algae and cell clusters.
