Journal of the Swiss Heraldic Society, published from 1887 in Basel by E. Birkhäuser for antiquarians, archivists and armorial scholars. Plates mix photographed medieval wax seals of shields, mounted knights and standing saints with ringed Latin legends, plus line-drawn coats of arms showing fleurs-de-lis, chevrons, mullets, eagles and a winged pegasus in heavy black hatching.
