Arguments on behalf of the Bunker Hill Monument Association before the mayor and aldermen of Charlestown : in favor of the new avenue to the monument
A printed civic argument of 1869, published in Charlestown by Abram E. Cutter, setting out the Bunker Hill Monument Association's case to the mayor and aldermen for a new avenue to the monument, with text by William W. Wheildon, George Washington Warren and Samuel S. Willson. The few plates are engraved street views of the monument grounds with houses, shade trees, fences and horse-drawn carriages, plus a hatched vignette of the granite obelisk itself, useful for period streetscape scenery and line-shaded sky texture.
