Armor bronze : artistic and ideal gifts in book ends, door stops, art objects, table and floor lamps
A trade catalogue of cast and metalized bronze goods issued by the National Metalizing Company in New York around 1900 for retailers and gift buyers, listing book ends, door stops, art objects and table and floor lamps. The plates are soft grey halftones photographing each pair against stacked books, giving clean profile silhouettes of urns, scrolled acanthus plinths, monks, draped women, owls and dogs that can be traced as ornament or object outlines.
