Art and life
Art and Life, T. Sturge Moore's 1910 volume of critical essays on Flaubert and Blake, published in London by Methuen for literary and art-minded readers. Its halftone plates reproduce Blake's colour-printed designs in sepia — swirling robed figures, crouching nudes, the compass-wielding Ancient of Days — giving designers high-contrast light-on-dark bodies, curving drapery lines and radiating sun discs.
