Arte da pintura, symmetria, e perspectiva
A Portuguese painter's manual on proportion and perspective by Philippe Nunes, reissued in Lisbon by João Baptista Alvares in 1767 for artists and apprentices learning to construct pictures geometrically. The plates are sparse line diagrams printed with the letterpress text: lettered vanishing points, converging sight lines, and measured verticals, useful as ready-made geometric marks, diagram overlays, or typographic ornament paired with aged laid paper.
