Artists of Abraham Lincoln portraits. correspondence
A file of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century letters about painters, lithographers and photographers who portrayed Abraham Lincoln, gathered by the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection and dated from 1860 onward, kept as research material on Lincoln portraiture. The 46 scans are close crops of handwritten pages in looping ink cursive on plain cream stock, useful as script samples, texture overlays, letterhead fragments and period penmanship reference.
