The art of England, lectures given in Oxford
John Ruskin's Oxford lectures on English art, published by George Allen at Sunnyside, Orpington, in 1889 for students and general readers of art criticism. The scanned plates here are the binding's marbled endpapers — pale green, ochre and crimson pigment spread into cloudy islands and veined channels — usable as mottled backgrounds, texture overlays, or colour references, one sheet framing a UCLA library bookplate.
