The art of home furnishing and decoration
A 1918 trade manual on interior decoration issued by the Armstrong Cork Company's Linoleum department in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, written by design educator Frank Alvah Parsons for homeowners and furnishing dealers. Pictures are numbered color swatches of printed and inlaid linoleum, overlapped in stepped corners: small-scale florals, tile and lattice grids, parquet blocks, and stripes, usable as flat repeat patterns and period color pairings.
