The art of printing
A short history and description of printing by Thomas O. Summers, issued in 1871 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, publishing house in Nashville for general and Sunday-school readers. Wood engravings show hand presses worked by aproned pressmen, a steam engine with a large flywheel, and cylinder machinery, useful as printing-trade equipment diagrams and figures at work.
