Art panels from the hand looms of the far Orient, as seen by a native rug weaver
A collector's guide to Oriental carpets written by Armenian-American rug dealer Garabed T. Pushman and printed in Chicago in 1902 for American buyers and connoisseurs. Halftone plates show whole rugs shot flat and full-length, with medallion fields, repeating floral lattices, hooked tribal motifs and multi-band borders rendered in grainy grey; useful as ready-made repeat patterns, frames and textile textures.
