Art Prices Current is an annual record of London and provincial auction results for paintings, drawings and engravings, issued in 1908 by the Offices of the Fine Art Trade Journal for dealers, collectors and valuers. Its illustrations mix engraved heraldry — crested shields with mantling, the royal arms with lion and unicorn supporters and motto scrolls — with wreathed display initials and coarse halftones of carved panelled doors and furniture.
