The Arts Club and its members
A club history of London's Arts Club written by G. A. F. Rogers and published by Truslove and Hanson in 1920, aimed at members and Londoners interested in artistic and theatrical society. The plates reproduce pen-and-ink cartoons and caricatures, many from Punch, showing crowded club-room scenes, a roundel portrait of a bespectacled man, and a nine-panel boxing sequence with hand-lettered captions \u2014 useful for loose hatching, comic figure groups and sequential panel layouts.
