The arts and crafts of older Spain
Leonard Williams's 1907 survey of Spanish decorative arts, issued in London by T.N. Foulis for collectors, museum visitors and students of craft history. Plates are halftone photographs of ivory caskets, carved and inlaid panels, stone reliefs and metal mounts, often isolated on black grounds: sources for vine scrollwork, heraldic shields, roundel grids and Moorish interlace usable as borders and repeat patterns.
