Astronomica veterum scripta isagogica Graeca & Latina
A 1589 Heidelberg compendium of Greek and Latin astronomical texts — Proclus, Aratus, Leontius, Avienus — printed by the Officina Sanctandreana for scholars reading the classical sky. The woodcuts give constellation figures in the Hyginus tradition: Perseus in plate armour with a severed head, a star-spotted bull and swan, a chariot drawn by birds, each body pricked with asterisks marking star positions.
