Astronomie
Joseph Jérôme Lalande's Astronomie, a multi-volume astronomical treatise issued in Paris in 1792 by the widow Desaint and printed by Pierre Didot l'aîné for astronomers, navigators and almanac compilers. The pages here are dense letterpress tables of logarithms, equations and ascension values, ruled into narrow columns with bracketed difference figures and abbreviated Latin headings; useful as ready-made grids, numeric texture, and examples of eighteenth-century tabular typesetting.
