Astronomie
Joseph Jérôme Le Français de Lalande's Astronomie, a multi-volume treatise on astronomy, tides and constellations printed in Paris in 1792 by the widow Desaint and Pierre Didot for astronomers and students. The plates are engraved geometric diagrams numbered in sequence: lettered circles, arcs, triangles and ray paths, some with shaded spheres and lens sections, usable as line-work, orbital schematics and figure-label typography.
