A 1918 student handbook of astronomy by Frank Watson Dyson, later Astronomer Royal, issued in New York by E.P. Dutton for pupils and general readers. The 72 figures are spare line diagrams: orbital arcs with starred positions, celestial spheres crossed by hour circles and lettered arcs, concentric circles with radiating sightlines, and angle measurements marked in seconds of arc.
