Astronomy; a popular handbook
A popular astronomy handbook by Harold Jacoby, professor at Columbia, published by Macmillan in New York in 1913 for general readers and students. The figures are plain line diagrams printed on cream paper: orbital ellipses with Kepler's swept areas hatched, sight lines from Earth to Sun and Venus, and a celestial sphere ringed with meridians around a sundial gnomon, all labelled with letters and small arrows and usable as geometric line art or diagram vocabulary.
