Astronomy with an opera-glass:
A popular stargazing guide by Garrett P. Serviss, published by D. Appleton in New York and London in 1896 for amateur observers using only an opera-glass. Plates are white stars and dotted clusters reversed out of solid black, some as circular telescopic fields, others as square charts with Greek letters and dotted constellation boundaries.
